SVP Hospital Financial Operations
As Senior Vice President of Hospital Financial Operations, Tod Beasley is responsible for all financial operations at CHC. He provides expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, revenue cycle performance metrics, forecasting and analysis, and productivity system implementation to help hospitals achieve and maintain the best financial performance possible.
With over 25 years of healthcare leadership, Tod brings an extensive background in hospital financial, operational leadership and consulting to the CHC team. Prior to joining CHC, he provided financial analysis, project management and performance improvement leadership for Mother Frances Health System in Tyler, Texas. Tod also spent a decade as Vice President of Finance for two hospitals within the Baylor Health Care System where he helped guide facility growth and financial performance. His experience spans hospitals of various sizes – from small community hospitals to large urban health care systems – and roles including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Financial Services, and Director of Finance.
Tod is a Board Member of the Texas Association for Healthcare Financial Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
SVP Corporate Finance
James Hill is SVP Corporate Finance for CHC. In this role, James oversees the financial direction of Community Hospital Corporation and its affiliated hospitals. He also provides financial and operations consulting services for Community Hospital Consulting clients.
Prior to working at CHC, James was the Vice President of Financial Reporting at Triad Hospitals, Inc. in Plano, Texas where he managed financial statements for a $5 billion company. James also worked at CARE Systems Corporation in Dallas as a Controller and at Epic Healthcare Group, Inc. in Dallas as a Corporate Accounting Supervisor.
James received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
VP Internal Audit/Compliance Officer
Douglas Kent is Vice President Internal Audit for Community Hospital Corporation. He is a CPA and proven leader with more than 15 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance. Doug brings to CHC a value added approach to internal audit and a reputation for building solid working relationships. Doug is also the Compliance Officer for CHC and assists Compliance Officers within CHC hospitals with their individual compliance programs.
Before joining CHC, Doug worked as Director of Internal Audit for several organizations including Community Health Systems (formerly Triad Hospitals). There he supervised multiple internal audit projects, developed internal audit plans and budgets, performed annual risk assessments, and implemented a system of internal controls to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Doug received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also has an Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas with a concentration in Corporate Finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors.
VP Hospital Finance
As Vice President of Hospital Finance, Shelle Diehm works with designated CHC hospitals to plan, organize and implement financial strategies. In this role, she helps identify, collect and analyze all relevant metrics and financial data to ensure maximum hospital financial performance. She also provides consulting to hospital financial leaders on tactics to improve their financial operations and offers advice on best practices.
With over 25 years in the industry, Shelle brings a diverse background of healthcare experience to the team. Before being promoted to her current position, Shelle served several years as Interim Field CFO for CHC. She also performed additional roles both as Controller and Manager of Special Projects.
Prior to joining CHC, Shelle consulted with Northwest Allied Physician Group in Tucson, Arizona. Previously, she has worked as Interim Roving CFO for Triad Hospital; as a Financial Consultant for Professional HealthCare Search and Consultants; and in CFO positions for Orinda, Columbia, and HealthTrust, Inc. In addition to this, she has 10 years of experience as a permanent hospital CFO and 10 years of interim experience in healthcare IT conversions and internal audit.
Shelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of West Florida, Pensacola, Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.
VP Health Plan Contracting
As Vice President of Health Plan Contracting, David Koford negotiates and manages all health plan contracts and supports hospital physician integration initiatives. Prior to CHC, David was Vice President of Business Support for Cirrus Health where he was responsible for corporate-wide managed care and revenue cycle functions, decision support and recovery audit contractor process management.
David has 25 years of experience in managed care contracting, revenue cycle management, revenue enhancement and operations. He served as Director of Joint Ventures for PacifiCare in Texas-San Antonio, and Director of Network Services for the Methodist Healthcare System-San Antonio. David also held multiple leadership positions with Triad Healthcare, Inc., including Regional Director of Managed Care, overseeing managed care strategy and payer relations for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and physician hospital organizations in multiple states.
David is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Managed Care Forum. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.
VP/CFO Post-Acute Services
Lisa Young serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Post-Acute Services. In this role, she leads the financial performance of the long term acute care hospitals (LTACHs) and post-acute care facilities managed by CHC.
Lisa has more than 20 years of financial management experience in healthcare and other industries. Most recently, she was Chief Financial Officer for five years with Lumin Health, LLC, in Irving, Texas, a physician-driven healthcare system including physician practices, ancillary and professional services, medical office buildings, free-standing emergency rooms and surgical hospitals.
Her prior roles included Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer for Cardiovascular Specialties of North Texas & COR Management, LLC; Manager and Financial Consultant for Tatum Partners, LLC; Controller for several businesses including TienaHealth Medical Group, PA; and Analyst for EDS early in her career.
Lisa has her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and has earned Chartered Global Management Accountant status. Lisa is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Director Financial Analysis
Sabrina Albert serves as Director of Financial Analysis for CHC. In this role, she works closely with the Senior Vice President Hospital Financial Operations, and is responsible for financial analysis, forecasting, financial support, pro forma and monthly operating report preparation for CHC hospitals and hospital clients.
Before joining CHC, Sabrina worked for Parkland Health & Hospital System and Parkland Foundation in various capacities, including Grant/Contract Specialist, Accounting Specialist, and lastly, Decision Support Analyst, where she administered the Action O-I® Operational Benchmarking program, and was involved in the design of the hospital’s Balanced Scorecard for use as an operational and financial performance monitoring tool. Previous responsibilities included the implementation of Parkland’s financial modeling software for forecasting, as well as statistical and financial reporting.
Sabrina’s background also includes several years of experience with the Missouri Department of Health, where she was responsible for the accounting and financial control of several federal and state health grants and contracts.
Sabrina holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Director of Payroll
Lisa Vang serves as Director of Payroll for CHC. In this role, she works closely with the Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance and oversees all payroll and payroll employment tax functions for Community Hospital Corporation and its affiliated hospitals. In addition, she assists Post-Acute Services with the implementation of payroll systems for long term acute care hospitals (LTACHs) and any post-acute care facility managed by CHC and serves as technical advisor.
She has more than 20 years of experience collaborating with senior leadership, automating and managing payroll systems to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, and resolving payroll system issues. Prior to joining CHC, Lisa worked as Payroll/Employment Tax Manager for Triad Hospitals, Inc. for nearly 10 years, and has held accounts receivable, payable, and junior accountant positions with PAS Financial Group of Irving, and Care Systems Corporation of Dallas.
Lisa is a Certified Payroll Professional and an active member of the National and Dallas American Payroll Association. She received her Associate of Science degree in Computerized Business Administration from ATI in Dallas.
Manager Productivity and Financial Operations
As Manager of Productivity and Financial Operations at CHC, Tania LeMons is responsible for the implementation, analysis, and maintenance of the Productivity Tool for CHC’s owned and managed hospitals. Other responsibilities include support for hospital financial operations, financial analysis, and support for consulting projects and hospital management needs. In 2014, Tania first joined the CHC team as Senior Financial Analyst, identifying and implementing productivity opportunities and providing financial analyses for CHC hospitals.
Before joining CHC, Tania spent eight years in accounting and finance at East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System (ETMC), where she started as a Senior Accountant at ETMC Quitman before being promoted to Controller for both ETMC Quitman and ETMC Gilmer. In 2010, Tania was promoted to Regional Assistant Chief Financial Officer for the ETMC Northern Hospital Group, where she provided support for five affiliate hospitals. Prior to working for ETMC, Tania also worked nine years for United Parcel Service in Dallas, where she held several progressively more responsible accounting positions.
Tania is a Certified Healthcare Finance Professional (CHFP). She received a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as her Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Denton.
Natoshia Cornelious is Accounting Manager for CHC. As an integral member of the corporate Finance team, Natoshia is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general and subsidiary ledgers, as well as account reconciliation, financial analysis, and audit schedules. She also oversees staff accounting and accounts payable functions.
Prior to joining CHC, Natoshia served for three years as an Accountant II with Conifer Health Solutions of Frisco, Texas. She brings more than a decade of accounting experience to CHC.
Before working in healthcare accounting, Natoshia began her career in public accounting as a Staff Accountant for WM Barr Controller. She also served six years as Controller for Allied Crawford West Memphis, overseeing all financial operations for a multi-million dollar steel distributor.
Natoshia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.
