Executive VP and COO

Wilson Weber

Executive VP and COO

Wilson Weber serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CHC. He is responsible for the operational management and oversight of CHC’s owned and leased hospitals as well as CHC Consulting's client hospitals. Wilson brings over 30 years of both not-for-profit and for-profit executive operations and management experience to the CHC team.

 

During the various leadership roles held throughout his career, Wilson’s organizations have been recognized for their exemplary performance in quality, patient satisfaction, employee communication and teamwork, as well as strong financials. Prior to joining CHC in 2005, Wilson served in various Senior Executive roles for organizations such as Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Tenet, HealthTrust, AMI and EPIC.

 

Wilson is a graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He holds a Master of Science in Hospital Administration from the University of North Texas. Wilson is also a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

SVP Southeast Hospital Operations

Jim Coleman

SVP Southeast Hospital Operations

Jim Coleman serves as Senior Vice President of Southeast Hospital Operations. Jim has over 20 years of experience in hospital operations, strategic market and partnership development, and physician relations and recruiting.

 

For the past nine years, he was with Parkridge Medical Center, a Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) facility based in Chattanooga, Tenn., serving as Chief Operating Officer of Parkridge Health System and prior as Interim CEO for Parkridge Valley Hospital. He led business development and increased market share across five hospitals in Chattanooga, receiving recognition by The Joint Commission for top performance in core measures in 2011.

 

Prior to HCA, Jim served for three years as System Chief Executive Officer for Cleveland Community Hospital and Bradley Memorial Hospital (now SkyRidge Medical Center), both of Cleveland, Tenn., where his leadership resulted in top physician satisfaction scores and customer satisfaction above the 95 percentile.

 

Jim has also served in executive leadership positions as Chief Operating Officer of Hutcheson Medical Center, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Executive Vice President of Ultragroup Ventures, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Vice President of Planning and Decision Support for Erlanger Health System, also in Chattanooga.

 

Jim has MBA and BS degrees from the University of Tennessee and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

 

SVP Southwest Hospital Operations

Craig Sims

SVP Southwest Hospital Operations

Craig Sims serves as Senior Vice President of Southwest Hospital Operations for CHC. With nearly 30 years of experience, Craig brings an extensive knowledge of hospital operations, physician practice management and healthcare strategy to the CHC team.

 

Prior to joining CHC, Craig was the Regional Vice President for Quorum Health Resources (QHR) in Dallas, Texas where he was responsible for oversight and client management of 12 facilities in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming and Washington. Craig also previously worked with Med300, serving as Senior Vice President of Physician Services.

 

Earlier in his career, Craig spent over 20 years within the Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Over the course of his tenure with Tenet, Craig worked as the Director of Regional Strategy and Operations for the Tenet Texas Gulf Coast Region; Vice President of Physician Strategies for the Tenet Healthcare Corporation; and President and Chief Executive Officer for the Tenet Healthcare and Metrocrest Hospital Authority Alliance, a multi-campus, three-hospital system.

 

Craig is a former Chairman of the Board for the Dallas/Fort Worth Hospital Council as well as the Health Industry Council. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Health Administration from Trinity University. Craig is also Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

VP Due Diligence and Strategic Analysis

Michael Morgan

VP Due Diligence and Strategic Analysis

Michael Morgan serves as Vice President of Due Diligence and Strategic Analysis for CHC. In this role, he leads and manages the due diligence process for organizations that CHC is considering for ownership, lease, management, or strategic advisory services. He also provides strategic analysis services for CHC Consulting hospitals.

 

Michael’s background in finance and operations has focused on healthcare-specific analysis, modeling and valuation. Prior to joining CHC, he served as Senior Analyst for the Strategic Analysis division of Horizon Health Corporation, a behavioral health management company in Lewisville, Texas. In addition, he served in a similar capacity as Senior Analyst for VMG Health, LLC of Dallas, Texas, providing business valuation and transaction advisory services related to hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, diagnostic imaging centers, and physician practices. Michael was also Manager of Finance and Operations for RentRange, LLC, Denver, Colorado, performing financial analysis and serving as liaison with private investor groups.

 

Michael earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
