SVP Human Resources
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Laurie Breedlove is responsible for human resource services for CHC managed, leased and owned facilities and for human resource consulting services for CHC Consulting. She is a skilled leader with a deep knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, contract development and negotiation, and human resource strategy.
Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Laurie brings over 25 years of diverse not-for-profit healthcare and consulting experience to the CHC team. Prior to joining CHC, Laurie served as a Director of Administration for Carter BloodCare in Bedford, Texas; Director of Simmons Cancer Center for UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas; and Associate Administrator at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Laurie received a Regent’s Award from the North Texas chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an organization where she is a former President. She is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has also been involved with several non-profit organizations and served on Advisory Boards for Our Children’s House and Ronald McDonald House.
Laurie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University and holds a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, she is a graduate of the Executive Development Program from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
VP Human Resources Post-Acute Services
Nancy Lloyd is Vice President of Human Resources for Post-Acute Services for CHC. In this role, she works closely with the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and the Senior Vice President of Post-Acute Services to provide human resource expertise and services to the CHC ContinueCare division, including support for new business efforts, and human resource leadership and operational assistance for start-up facilities.
With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, she has implemented initiatives that develop the workforce, increase employee satisfaction and improve employer standing. Before joining CHC, Nancy held human resource leadership roles with med fusion of Dallas, ProTom International, Solis Women’s Health, Global Rehab Management and Accuro Healthcare Solutions.
Nancy’s human resource experience with specialty/long-term acute care hospitals draws from her role with SemperCare, Inc., where she led their regional and national human resource and recruitment strategies until the company was acquired by Select Medical Corp. Nancy also served as Director of Employment – Human Resources for the Baylor Health Care System for nine years.
Nancy has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Nebraska and earned a Master of Liberal Arts from Southern Methodist University.
Director of Total Compensation
As Director of Total Compensation, Michelle Cunningham is responsible for managing the total compensation programs for Community Hospital Corporation, including base and incentive compensation plans, policies, and related benefits. Michelle also provides compensation expertise and services for CHC managed, leased, and owned facilities.
Michelle brings a broad background of compensation consulting and industry experience to the CHC Human Resources team. Her expertise in the design and administration of strategic compensation programs in all areas of compensation includes base pay, incentive, sales, and executive compensation, as well as issues related to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CHC, Michelle worked as an independent consultant providing compensation consulting to Tenet Healthcare, HCC Insurance Holdings, and Neiman Marcus. Her previous roles include Senior Compensation Manager at Nortel Networks, Compensation Manager at Intecom and Senior Compensation Analyst at Watson Wyatt.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is both a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Manager of Human Resources
Licia Lichliter is Manager of Human Resources for CHC. In this role, she works closely with the Senior Vice President of Human Resources to provide Human Resource Services to CHC managed, leased and owned facilities and for human resource consulting services. Her areas of focus include retirement plans, benefits and wellness, human resource functions, and day-to-day communication and assistance for all CHC facilities, as well as recruitment, onboarding and administration.
She joined the company as executive assistant to the president and CEO when CHC was founded in 1997. Prior, Licia served in executive assistant roles for VHA Southwest and VHA Inc., supporting national education initiatives and marketing development. Early in her career, she served as administrative assistant to the Vice President of Public Relations for Walter Bennett Communications in Dallas, supporting media relations and PR activities. She began her career in the paralegal field in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Licia earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, and a paralegal certificate from Santa Fe Community College.
Tracy Dickerson is Recruitment Manager of Human Resources at CHC. She brings over 10 years of experience in recruitment and business development to CHC, specializing in staffing operations and strategic planning in both corporate and agency environments.
During her time as an Executive Recruiter, Tracy worked with CHC as a PRN Recruiter and as a Recruiter for CHC ContinueCARE LTACH facilities before joining CHC on a fulltime basis. Tracy’s experience also includes serving as a Corporate Recruiter for Tenet Healthcare in Dallas and as a Recruiter and Executive Search Manager for TruSource Staffing in Plano.
Tracy received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Employee Relations and Engagement Manager
Jana Strunk serves as Employee Relations and Engagement Manager for CHC. In this position she is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the positive employee culture at CHC.
Prior to joining CHC, she spent five years as a Business Partner and Manager of Employee Relations/Policy Administration at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital.
Jana has more than 20 years of human resources experience with strong expertise in employee relations, benefits, talent management and leadership development.
Her education includes a Master of Arts in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University and Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Oklahoma State University. Jana holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR), is a licensed Professional Counselor and is a Certified Mediator and Certified Executive Coach.
