CHC gives back to Salvation Army: 5 things to know


Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. has long given financially to The Salvation Army, and this year, the company will give $37,650 to The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Service Center-Dallas.

 

Here are five things to know about the philanthropic effort.

 

1. The money is used to put a bed into an apartment for someone transitioning out of the center's shelter, and supports the purchase of bed frames, mattresses and housewares, according to a news release.
