Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospitals Names Stephen Gambrell Market Administrator
Plano, Texas (March 10, 2017). Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is pleased to announce Stephen Gambrell as the new Market Administrator for the three Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospitals located in North Carolina. Gambrell has oversight of clinical operations and patient experience at Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Pineville and Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at University, both in Charlotte, as well as Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Kings Mountain. The three facilities are an integral part of the 11 long-term acute care hospitals, or LTACHs, within the CHC ContinueCARE division.

Prior to joining Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospitals, Gambrell worked in the St. Louis and Indianapolis markets in leadership positions with Kindred Healthcare. Before Kindred, he was Operations Manager at OrthoCraft, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga., and has worked with East Georgia Regional Medical Center and the Georgia Hospital Association.
Gambrell earned his MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, completing a formal LTACH operations fellowship, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration/Management from Georgia Southern University.
