Community Hospital Corporation’s April Myers Named to NALTH Board

PLANO, TX – (June 5, 2017) – Community Hospital Corporation’s (CHC) April Myers, senior vice president of Post-Acute Operations, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Long Term Hospitals (NALTH). Myers brings to the NALTH Board extensive knowledge and management experience in post-acute care. She has focused on improving operations for CHC’s long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs) since becoming part of CHC in January of 2016. Prior, she held various leadership roles with Kindred Healthcare.

A national leader in advocacy, legislative and industry issues for long-term care, NALTH further promotes public policy to advance the interests of long-term patients. NALTH also provides educational and networking opportunities for its hospitals and professional members to share information and learn best practices.

CHC owns, manages and consults with hospitals, and owns LTACHs in Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition, CHC recently entered into a management agreement with Arkansas Continued Care Hospital of Jonesboro, Jonesboro, Ark., opening in the coming months.
