North Texas Medical Center, Gainesville, Texas, is a 60-bed acute care hospital located 60 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth and five miles south of the Texas-Oklahoma border. North Texas Medical Center has served Cooke County and neighboring communities for more than 40 years.

North Texas Medical Center is a CMS 5 Star Rated acute care hospital, has six intensive care unit beds, and 12 women’s center beds. The hospital also offers an 11-bed emergency room, along with three trauma rooms, four operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and three wound care treatment areas. In addition, the medical center provides therapy, laboratory services, various medical imaging services and more. Recently, North Texas Medical Center added inpatient, outpatient and primary care Hospital @ Home services to make access to high quality healthcare even easier.
