Doug Kent

VP Internal Audit

Douglas Kent is Vice President Internal Audit for Community Hospital Corporation. He is a CPA and proven leader with more than 15 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance. Doug brings to CHC a value added approach to internal audit and a reputation for building solid working relationships. Doug is also the Compliance Officer for CHC and assists Compliance Officers within CHC hospitals with their individual compliance programs.

Before joining CHC, Doug worked as Director of Internal Audit for several organizations including Community Health Systems (formerly Triad Hospitals). There he supervised multiple internal audit projects, developed internal audit plans and budgets, performed annual risk assessments, and implemented a system of internal controls to meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Doug received his Bachelor of Business Administration in  Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Public Accountant and also has an Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas with a concentration in Corporate Finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors.
