
Erin Dickerman
Director, Clinical Informatics
As Director, Clinical Informatics, Erin Dickerman is responsible for guiding the informatics programs for CHC and works with facilities to improve clinical system utilization through evaluation and optimization of clinical workflow. She also assists the Privacy Officer with the development, implementation, and oversight of programs to improve protection and reduce overall security risk.
With more than 20 years of experience as a nurse and nursing informatics/technology professional, Erin began her career in healthcare as a Staff Nurse for Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, and she was promoted to Charge Nurse. She worked as an Assistant Nurse Manager in Pediatrics for MD Anderson before shifting her focus to Clinical Informatics with the position of RN Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Informaticist for Methodist Hospital Willowbrook in Houston.
Prior to joining CHC, Erin worked as Manager IT, Enterprise Systems for Children’s Health in Dallas. There she managed a team of 12 analysts who built clinical documentation and orders for acute care and emergency departments in Epic across all Children’s facilities.
She also serves as an Adjunct Faculty for the School of Nursing, Health Informatics for Texas Woman’s University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin and Master of Business Administration from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.
