Joseph Ford

VP Regional Information Technology

As Vice President, Regional Information Technology for CHC, Joseph Ford is responsible for implementation of CHC’s information technology operational and cyber security strategies for CHC’s South and Central Texas hospitals. His responsibilities include working in close coordination with the Senior Vice President of Information Technology, CHC executives, and facility leadership to plan, implement, and manage all Information Technology and Cyber Security strategies and activities for his assigned facilities.

With two decades of professional experience, Joseph brings experience in healthcare operational, financial and technology requirements to this position. Prior to joining CHC, Joseph directed IT conversion and infrastructure projects at a CHC facility. As Principal of Global Downs, he consulted on the development of custom solutions, oversaw change management initiatives, supported strategic planning efforts and more. Earlier in his career, Joseph gained experience implementing new technology platforms at CareCloud and PatientPoint. He began his career working as a System Analyst at Lake Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, TX, and South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, AL. He also served as an IT Director for DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne, AL.

As part of his specialized training, Joseph completed his Lean Six Sigma Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, NextGen EMR Certification and Carestream Kodak PACS Certification.
