Sally Parnell

VP Clinical Services Post-Acute Services

Sally Parnell serves as VP of Clinical Services for Post-Acute Services for CHC. In this role, she guides clinical excellence for the Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH) and any post-acute care facility managed by CHC.

Sally brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare management and nursing practice to CHC, including CEO/administrator roles at a national level with oversight of operations, financial management, development and clinical quality. She has helped to develop post-acute care services – including skilled nursing, hospice and rehabilitation – implement clinical policies, procedures and training, and facilitate licensure and accreditation survey activities.

Prior to joining CHC, Sally served as Vice President of Clinical Operations for Gentiva Health Services’ Hospice division for six years, and as Vice President of Quality for Select Medical Corporation for two years. As Chief Clinical Officer at SemperCare, Inc. (later sold to Select Medical) she helped to build and operationalize 17 hospitals. Sally has also served as CEO of Compass Hospital of Dallas, CEO/Administrator of American Transitional Hospitals-Dallas/Fort Worth, and as a surveyor for The Joint Commission. She spent her early nursing career in director roles for rehabilitation hospitals.

Sally is a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP) and earned a Diploma in Nursing from Helene Fuld Nursing School in Trenton, New Jersey. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing is from Stockton State College, Pomona, New Jersey, and her Master of Science in Nursing Administration is from Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania.
