Valerie Hayes serves as the Planning Manager for Community Hospital Corporation. In this role, she manages and conducts community health needs assessments, and assists in the development of medical staff development plans and market assessment reports.
Prior to joining CHC, Valerie received her Master in Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). During her graduate career, she gained considerable experience in the creation of community health needs assessments, and completed her degree with a focus on Community Health Sciences. In conjunction with her graduate studies, she served as a graduate research analyst at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Chicago Public Schools Office of Health and Wellness, the Institute for Health Research and Policy at UIC, and the Chicago Partnership for Health Promotion.
Valerie received a degree in Health and Exercise Sciences from Furman University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS).
