Whittney Walker

Director Telecom Funding Programs

Whittney Walker is the Director of Telecom Funding Programs for CHC. In this role, she works with CHC’s owned and managed hospitals – as well as other rural facilities – to navigate State and Federal programs (USAC, CTF, OUSF, TUSF), secure funding, and deliver improved telecommunications services through increased access.

Whittney has several years of telecommunications and IT experience working with state and federal agencies to access the more than half a billion dollars of funding available to healthcare providers each year. Prior to joining CHC, she worked for Network Services Solutions, LLC, where she oversaw a broad range of responsibilities, including state and federal funding administration, funding and regulatory telecommunications compliance, and financial analysis and modeling. Whittney served in various administrative and customer support roles with telecommunications services companies, where she coordinated logistics, negotiated with suppliers, monitored and managed budgets and forecasting, and fulfilled customer requests.

Whittney completed coursework in Business Management at the University of Nevada-Reno, and earned Dean’s List honors while attending Truckee Meadows Community College. She is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers.
