Retiring as: Founding CEO of Community Hospital Corp., an organization that owns, manages or consults with nearly 30 hospitals in the U.S., most of which are rural.
Background: Became CEO of the Plano, Texas-based organization soon after it formed in 1996 by leaders from 13 Texas not-for-profit community health systems. Throughout his 40-year career, Williams held executive leadership positions including executive VP and COO of Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and VP of Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
